'Great Gatsby: The Mr. Â鶹ÊÓƵcoronation

Junior Marcus Oliver was coronated as the 17thMr. Claflin.
The event began with a dance from the on-campus group P.U.L.S.E., a performance during which Oliver came from behind the curtains and joined in the dance.
A recent Mr. Â鶹ÊÓƵhas passed away and was honored with a video in his memory. “I thought the tribute video was amazing,” senior Jalon Watson said.
2018 Mr. Â鶹ÊÓƵEj Favors was honored and took his final walk. The class kings were also recognized and coronated.
The theme of coronation was the Great Gatsby and the class kings sported burgundy tuxedos and Mr. Â鶹ÊÓƵwore an all-white tuxedo.
The night ended with President Dwaun Warmack crowning Oliver as the new Mr. Â鶹ÊÓƵand Oliver taking his first official walk as Mr. Claflin.
